Meet our extraordinary trustees leading our mission to change the lives of young people through the power of athletics.
We couldn’t be prouder of our Trustees, so we are very excited to profile each of them during Trustees Week 2002 (7-11 November). Recognising the many achievements of our esteemed trustees, who are passionate about making a difference to improve the lives of children and young people through the power of athletics; the Personal Best Foundation Trustees couldn’t be more committed to our purpose, vision, mission and plans.
Let’s meet our Trustees:
- Chair: Mark Lawrie
- Trustee: Sir Lawrence Clark, Bt. OLY
- Trustee: Tunji Akintokun, MBE
- Trustee: Jane Stewart
- Trustee: Chris Jones
The theme of Trustees’ Week this year is making a difference in changing times. Environments across England continue to change; with many people hit by the reality of the cost-of-living crisis and continue to face increased challenges, adding to the barriers to participation for more children and young people. The positive impact our trustees make is invaluable to a sector that is reliant on the generosity of others.
