Olympian Alex Haydock-Wilson joins Personal Best Foundation as Official Ambassador

We are thrilled to announce that Olympian Alex Haydock-Wilson has officially joined the Personal Best Foundation as our newest ambassador! Alex's journey from grassroots talent to international competitor has been nothing short of inspiring, making him a great role model for children and young people.

Alex, who specialises in the 400 metres, has represented Great Britain on the world stage, earning accolades for his speed, determination, and resilience. With multiple national titles, European Championships appearances and an Olympic Games under his belt, Alex knows first-hand what it takes to push through challenges and achieve personal bests.

Recently, Alex attended the launch of our very first Personal Best Community Hub at Grove Park in Lewisham, just a stone's throw from where he grew up. With his competitive nature, he got stuck into all the funetics games and took time to engage with the young people.

"It’s an honour to give back to the community and witness first-hand how much joy sport can bring. Watching the kids today reminded me of my own journey, and I hope this experience inspires them to keep pursuing their passion for staying active.”

At the Personal Best Foundation, we believe in the power of athletics to unlock potential and create opportunities for young people, both on and off the track. Alex shares this belief wholeheartedly and will be working closely with us to inspire the next generation to pursue personal bests in every aspect of life.

We are excited to collaborate with Alex as he continues to chase his own goals while helping children and young people reach theirs. His drive to succeed and passion for giving back make him a valuable role model, and we know his involvement will make a positive impact on the lives of many.
