Treasurer – Ali Smith
Ali is a GB medal-winning Paralympian as well as an owner of her own business.
The T38 category sprinter was part of Paralympic GB’s silver medal-winning quartet in the Universal relay at both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. In Tokyo, together with Jonnie Peacock, Nathan Maguire, Libby Clegg and her guide Chris Clarke, the team clocked a new European record of 47.50.
Ali has also won T38 400m silver at the European Championships in Berlin 2018 as well as a bronze at Bydgoszcz 2021.
Away from athletics, Ali loves nothing more than analysing numbers and delving into spreadsheets. A part-qualified accountant she formerly worked as management accountant for the Treloar Trust, a charity which provides education for disabled children and young adults, leaving to focus on the Paralympic Games. Ali now owns and manages a cycle shop and is currently studying for her CIMA exams with ambitions of becoming a fully qualified accountant.
