Alice is an award-winning broadcast journalist, waking up London and the UK with the news on Heart Breakfast. She is also a speaker, a keen advocate for the power of movement and sport and she is an ambassador for the run coaching app Coopah.
Alice has reported on some of the biggest events in recent history, including leading Heart’s news coverage of the King’s Coronation from Buckingham Palace. In 2023 she won National Newsreader of the Year at the Commercial Radio News Awards, and has been named on The Radio Academy’s 30 under 30 list.
During her French and Spanish degree at the University of Leeds, Alice worked in Paris and Bilbao teaching children English. She then went on to study a Masters in Journalism at Leeds Trinity University.
Alice loves running, from track sessions at her local athletics club to road races. In April she completed the London Marathon, which she says is the ‘best day of her entire life’, only narrowly beating the day she reported on the marathon from The Mall!
Alice starts most weekends at parkrun, either taking part or volunteering at the event, and at junior parkrun. Alice is hugely passionate about the transformational impact of athletics on children and young people and is proud to be joining the brilliant team at the Personal Best Foundation as a Board Observer.
