    The welfare and safety of young people is of the upmost priority for Personal Best Foundation and we believe in a pro-active approach to ensure this happens. We want to help organisations delivering activities to provide a safe and enjoyable experience to all young people who take part. The information you share will help us understand your organisation's approach to safeguarding. We want all organisations receiving investment from this fund to operate best possible safeguarding practice so the information we collect here can help make sure we can provide all organisations with the most relevant support and information. The questions below are in relation to the activity you are delivering as part of this funding application as well as your organisation as a whole.

    As a charity working with, and supporting a range of organisations that work with children and young people, it is important that the organisations we invest in have the relevant policies and insurances in place to ensure safeguarding of young people. Therefore, there are some assurances/checks that we need to carry out before funding can be awarded. As such, please complete the questions below.

  • The Personal Best Foundation is a charity that was launched in 2022 with the defined purpose of ‘changing young lives through the power of athletics’. We are currently looking for local delivery partners in areas of high deprivation to deliver free community and/or after-school athletics / funetics programmes which support children and young people from low income families. These programmes would be funded by the Personal Best Foundation and would be for delivery from 2025 onwards.
